K.Z. Morano is a writer, a beach bum, and a chocolate addict who believes in radical self love. She writes anything from romance and erotica to horror and dark fantasy. Her first published story is “The Baobab” in Popcorn Horror Presents published in August 2013 by Popcorn Horror. Her recent works include “The Other Child” in Ugly Babies: the Anthology published by JWK Fiction in October 2013 (reprinted in Blood Reign Literary Magazine December 2013 and to be reprinted in Sirens Call #13 Women in Horror issue), “Wooden Lips” in Cellar Door: Words of Beauty Tales of Terror Volume II, “Fireworks” in Off the KUF Volume II and “Diaries of Bones” in Bones II by JWK Fiction. Several of her stories will also be appearing in various forthcoming anthologies such as Dark Fairy Tales Revisited by Horrified Press, Leodegraunce High End Fiction Anthology and Vignettes from the End of the World by Apokrupha. She is currently working on her first short story collection.
